Christmas on Main Street USA

Christmas on Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World

For the Christmas holidays on Main Street USA in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, garlands cross the street and line the buildings, while Mickey-shaped wreaths adorn the light posts.

I have mentioned my fondness for Main Street USA here before, and that was during the normal time of year. However, that is even more true during Christmas when all the decorations are up. Sure, there are some minor complaints, such as how they move the statue of Roy O. Disney and Minnie Mouse to put up the Christmas tree, which you can see in the background here. But besides a few small things like that, it is just about right.

And the atmosphere gets even better when the Christmas parade comes rolling through. Main Street is a fun place to watch a parade any time, but when the Christmas parade comes among all those Christmas decorations, how can you not get into the Christmas spirit?

I wish my town had a Main Street like the one at Walt Disney World.
