Mickey Mouse on the Christmas Tree

Mickey Mouse ornament on the Christmas tree

A Christmas ornament shaped like Mickey Mouse hangs on our Christmas tree.

We got a couple of sets of these Mickey Mouse ornaments several years ago from Walt Disney World, and they are always among the highlights of our Christmas tree. Every now and then, one of the Mickeys will lose one of its ears, but we just glue them back on and stick them back on the tree.

They say a Christmas tree is a reflection of its owners. Whoever “they” are is still a mystery. Maybe I just made that part up. But anyway, our Christmas tree definitely shows some of the things we like. In this photo, for example, the Mickey ornament hangs right next to a Cowboy snowman ornament. And lights. Lots of lights. And that pretty much sums us up.

About the shot:
A single RAW exposure, processed in Aurora HDR (in 2020, because the original version processed in Lightroom in 2012 has apparently been lost to the ages). Read more about the photo software and gear I use at the camera gear page.
