The Disney Dream at Castaway Cay

The Disney Dream at Castaway Cay

The Disney Dream sits across the bay at Castaway Cay, the private island of the Disney Cruise Line, waiting for passengers to return at the end of the day.

This photo is somewhat dark and moody, and that was probably how I was feeling at the time that I took it. Well, not really all that dark, and really not terribly moody. But we had a fantastically fun day at Castaway Cay, and that point when your day there ends and you have to go back to the ship is always a little bittersweet. Because Castaway Cay is just that much fun, at least for us.

Of course, there are plenty of fun things to do on the ship, too. And the day at Castaway Cay ends early enough that there is plenty of time to enjoy the evening hours on the ship, so that is another reason why going back isn’t terribly dark and moody. In some ways, it is just trading one type of fun for another, if you choose to look at it that way. Which we always do.
