Laura at the Hotel

Laura at the Hotel in Cocoa Beach, Florida

Before we left the hotel in Cocoa Beach, Florida, to head back home, we took a quick photo walk around the grounds. Because you can never have too many photos, you know.

While we were walking, I took this photo of Laura just outside of our room. We hadn’t requested a pool/courtyard view, mainly because it looked like it cost more from the online reservation site. But that was what we ended up with, and it was nice. There wasn’t even too much noise from the pool at night, except for one night, but it eventually ended when the pool closed for the night.

Fortunately, I took several exposures, because this one turned out to be rather tricky with the background being so bright. I think it turned out well.

Several times in my life I have heard the old saying, “Who you go with is more important than where you go,” or something along those lines. And I must say, it really is true. Although Laura and I love going to the beach, we could go just about anywhere and have a good time. I’m always glad for the opportunity to go places with her.
