Photo: Nighttime at the Grand Floridian

Nighttime at the Grand Floridian at Walt Disney World

The Grand Floridian Resort at Walt Disney World shines and sparkles in the night as its lights are reflected in the waters of Seven Seas Lagoon. It is always interesting to see how things take on a different appearance at night, especially if you have some cool clouds in the sky for a background. It was worth a couple of sprinkles of rain to have some clouds like that, right?

Although I titled this photo “Nighttime at the Grand Floridian,” you can probably tell that we weren’t actually at the Grand Floridian. Instead, we were at the Polynesian Resort, and we were waiting to watch the Electrical Water Pageant. I had my camera set up on the tripod to shoot that, and I thought I would get a photo or two of the Grand Floridian while we waited. Fortunately, this one turned out even better than I expected.

That great view and the Electrical Water Pageant, too. What more could you ask for? Besides a longer vacation, of course.
