In this photo, Laura is enjoying a walk along a nature trail at Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland, Florida, from back in the summer. And she was also watching the path to make sure that she didn’t step on any alligators along the way.
It is always important to find something that you enjoy, and we do definitely enjoy walking along trails like this where we can either enjoy some nature or discover some history, or both. Jaylin doesn’t always agree, because the trails don’t always have something to hold his interest. However, on this particular day, he was enjoying looking for alligators as much as the rest of us were. And he could usually spot them before we could, too.
If you can find something that the two of you can enjoy together, then your marriage will definitely benefit from it. That something could be as simple as watching a football game or television show while sitting on the couch, or it could be something more adventurous as riding the waves the beach, or it could be just taking a walk in the evening and enjoying some time to talk.
Whatever it is, find it. And then do it as often as you can. Just a little free marriage advice from me to you.
