A Postcard View of the Walt Disney World Boardwalk Inn

The Boardwalk Inn at Walt Disney World is reminiscent of the old days, especially here in this photo.

As you may remember, I posted a photo of the clouds over the Boardwalk a couple of months ago. When I was looking back through my photos, I found this one that was somewhat similar, but I still wanted to post it. So why not give it a different look? Maybe almost like a postcard. An old, beat up postcard.

I turned up the color saturation a bit, and then I found a texture I liked by searching the internet. And this is what I ended up with. Some may think it is a bit over the top, but I think it is rather artistic, which works fine for me.

The problem with posting photos from some place like Walt Disney World is that so many people have been there before, and so many photos from there have been posted before. Everything starts to look familiar after a while. So I thought I would go for something different to try to make this photo stand out just a bit from all that you may have seen before. And don’t be surprised if I do that with more of my photos.

Better to stand out than to blend in with everyone else, after all.
