Photo: Standing In the Waves

Standing In the Waves at Cocoa Beach, Florida

The waves roll in on the shore at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, Florida, from our beach trip back in the summer. Ah, the good old days.

If you are wondering:

  • Yes I was in fact standing in the water with my camera.
  • No, my camera is not waterproof.
  • Yes, I had a firm grip on my camera.
  • No, my knuckles weren’t as white as the wave caps.
  • Yes, I also had the camera strap around my neck.
  • No, the water was not very deep where I was standing - only around 18" at the most.
  • Yes, I do that all the time.
  • No, I have not (yet) dropped my camera into the water.
  • Yes, I would probably cry if that happened.
  • No, I don’t have any Grey Poupon.
  • Yes, that guy at the upper left was trying to catch a frisbee.
  • No, I don’t know if he actually caught it or missed it.
  • Yes, those clouds did eventually bring rain later in the day.
  • No, we do not stay out at the beach when a thunderstorm is present.
  • Yes, I wish we were back there again.
  • No, you can’t come with us.

Any more questions? Because I have answers. Maybe not the answers you want to hear. Maybe not even the right answers. But when has that mattered before?
