Photo: Castaway Cay in the Bahamas

Castaway Cay in the Bahamas

Even a cloudy day is a good day on an island paradise, as seen here at Castaway Cay, the private Bahamas island of the Disney Cruise Line. You can seven see the Disney Dream hiding behind some of the sails and palm trees.

Don’t mind me, I’m just dreaming about some place warm. It has been cold, wet, and dreary here this week. And even though it was cloudy when we were at Castaway Cay, it was still warm and humid, perfect weather for being at the beach. Unlike here in the winter, where it is cold and humid, or rather just damp.

Add in the dreary weather with the website problems from earlier in the week (the site was down due to a spam attack on Wednesday, in case you didn’t know), and somewhere like Castaway Cay sounds just about perfect right now.

But I am here and not there, so I might as well make the most of it where I am, right? And that is what I do. But it still doesn’t hurt to look at photos of happier places sometimes, does it? No, it doesn’t.
