Palm Trees on the Beach

Palm Trees on the Beach

Palm trees on the beach by a cove at Castaway Cay, the private Bahamas island of the Disney Cruise Line. You can see the Disney Dream cruise ship off in the distance.

I love the beach. You know that, if you have been here before. So instead of going on and on about it as I usually do, here for you is a beach haiku:

How I love the beach!
Would you like to be there, too?
Yes, I know you would.

There you have it - simple, yet satisfying. And much better than my first beach haiku effort:

Hey, let’s go beaching!
Beach, beach, beach, beach, beach, beach, beach,
Yippie yay the beach!

I’m pretty sure that violates some sort of haiku rules to just use the same word over and over again. I hope they don’t come and take away my Haiku Writers of Tennessee card for that one. Hopefully, they will just overlook it this one time. Since I did write the other one, after all.

Or maybe I should just stick to photography.
