At the Beach, and What's In a Title?

At the Beach

It was a nice day to be at the beach at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Great clouds, lots of sun, nice water. I wish we were there right now.

And no, despite how the title of this post may make it sound, we are not at the beach right now. It would have been nice to be at the beach for my birthday this past weekend, but there was too much going on at home to get to go. And I should probably specify which beach, because some beaches can get rather cold, you know. So it would have been nice to be at a nice, warm beach over the weekend.

Perhaps I should work on my blog post titles to make them more entertaining. Because “At the Beach” sounds rather bland. And because someone said, “Hey, you know you should work on your post titles.” So what could I call this? Here are some suggestions:

Couple Almost Engulfed by Huge Wave on Beach

People Enjoy the Beach as Unseen Terror Lurks Nearby

Sitting on the Beach #1 Cause of Sand in Pants

People Enjoy the Beach, And You Will Never Guess What Happens Next

The Ocean Waved Goodbye

Enjoy the Beach, But Don’t Drink the Water!

So after thinking about all of those, I think I will just stick with “At the Beach.” Works fine for me.
