The Hollywood Tower Hotel
The Hollywood Tower Hotel is home to the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World.
Actually, we haven’t been to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in a few years now, for various reasons. And actually, this photo is from way before that last visit, because this one is from all the way back in 2008, almost seven years ago. In fact, at the time the park was still known as Disney-MGM Studios, so you know this goes back a few years. Maybe some really, really dedicated theme park fan can tell if there are any differences in the tower between then and now, but to most all of us, it probably just looks the same.
I was looking through some old photos, and this one caught my eye. I’m sure I have posted it somewhere on the site sometime in the past, but I figured a new treatment and a new blog post were just what it needed, so here it is.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is one of my favorite rides at Disney-MGM, er, Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But the rest of my family doesn’t care for it all that much. Which means that I usually end up buying them ice cream or an extra souvenir if we go on it. And even then, we don’t get repeat rides, even with ice cream. Oh well, I ride it when I can.
