A Day at Typhoon Lagoon at Walt Disney World

During our Florida trip this summer, we spent a fun day at Typhoon Lagoon, one of the water parks at Walt Disney World. Thanks to my GoPro camera, I got some cool video footage, too. So here is a video I put together of our fun:

As you can see, we spent a lot of time in the wave lagoon enjoying the big waves. We also did several of the slides and spent some time in Castaway Creek (the “lazy river”), but I didn’t take the camera with me for those. I did enjoy being able to have the camera out in the water with me without worrying about trying to keep it dry. Because when one of those big waves hits you, there isn’t much you can do besides be knocked over by it.

And you may notice that I enjoyed getting some slow-motion footage of some of the big waves, too. Always interesting to slow things down a little to see more of what is going on, such as the parents that throw their children up in the air right when the big waves come.

The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!” - Matthew 8:27

About the video: Filmed and photographed with a GoPro camera and then edited in GoPro Studio Camera: GoPro Hero3+ Silver
