Spectacular Sunset

Spectacular Sunset

The sun sets behind the clouds, as seen from our front yard.

I would guess that every sunset is special, if you take the time to look at it. Or if you don’t want to call them special, then every sunset is at least unique.

Of course, sometimes you can’t always see the sun as it is setting, if it happens to be raining or very cloudy. But even when you can’t see it happen, you know the sun has set because it gets dark. And then sometimes when the setting sun manages to break through all of the clouds, it makes the sunset even better.

I don’t take the time to notice sunsets enough. Or sunrises, for that matter, because we are usually up before the sun in our house. And even when I don’t notice it, it still happens.

So maybe I need to try to notice the sun rising and setting more often. Because it often looks really neat.
