A Passing Friendship

A Passing Friendship near Epcot at Walt Disney World

A Friendship boat passes by the walkway to the International Gateway entrance of Epcot’s World Showcase at Walt Disney World.

On our visit to the Epcot Resorts, we decided to walk down the pathway a bit toward the International Gateway, which is the entrance to Epcot through World Showcase. As we were walking along, one of the Friendship boats came by on its way from the Epcot Resorts to the International Gateway boat dock. So of course, I got a photo of it.

I think I have only been in the Friendship boats a couple of times, and that has been to go from one of the Epcot Resorts to another. The boats have been there since the beginning of EPCOT Center, taking guests around World Showcase Lagoon. But if I was ever on one in those days, it was only once. It seems like the lines were always so long, and walking around World Showcase seemed to be just as fast.

But if the boats are your thing, and the lines always indicated that they were someone’s “thing,” then who am I to argue?
