Tangled at the Magic Kingdom

Tangled at the Magic Kingdom

Rapunzel’s tower from the movie Tangled rises in the distance in Fantasyland at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

When we stopped by the Magic Kingdom after our Disney cruise, we finally had an opportunity to see some of the new additions to Fantasyland, including the new Tangled area. Interestingly, much of the Tangled area houses restrooms, making this area the home of the most highly detailed restrooms in all of Walt Disney World, in my opinion. But even for a restroom area, this entire area is really well done, and it has some beautiful views, such as this one on the way to the Haunted Mansion from Fantasyland.

Evidently, the old restrooms across the way are going to be home to an expanded queue space for Peter Pan’s Flight. So it is nice to see that they didn’t just throw up some cheap, unthemed restrooms, but instead went all out in creating something that is interesting to see.

And it probably makes things easier on the cast members working in the area, too. “Quick, where is the nearest restroom?” “Just go toward that big tower over there.” Genius.
