Our View from the Disney Dream

Our View from the Disney Dream

This was the view from our stateroom verandah on our recent Disney cruise on the Disney Dream. Pretty nice, isn’t it? Personally, I like the way that the yellow life boats contrast with the blue water and sky. And at this particular moment, which was early in the morning before we arrived at Nassau, the sky was about the clearest that we had for our entire cruise, which was mostly cloudy. But no one was complaining, because we were on a cruise, after all. We don’t get to do that all that often, no matter what the weather may be.

As I have mentioned before, we really liked having our own verandah this time around. Mainly for being able to have views like this one just by walking out the door of our room. I wouldn’t mind having a view like this all the time, but that isn’t easy when we don’t live anywhere near amazingly blue water. I could print this out in a large size and tape it to the window, but somehow I just don’t think that would be the same.

And yes, I know that the horizon isn’t exactly level here, but I don’t mind that at all. Because when I tried to straighten it, I lost too much of the ship at the side of the photo, and I like having that in there. So I left it unlevel. Hopefully, that won’t make you seasick.
