Laura on the Nature Boardwalk

Laura on the boardwalk through Shingle Creek Regional Park in Kissimmee, Florida

Laura stops for a minute while walking along the boardwalk through Shingle Creek Regional Park in Kissimmee, Florida, from our trip back in July. You may remember a past photo from the park. Fortunately, this section of the boardwalk actually had some nice rails on the sides, just to make sure that we didn’t fall in.

Also nice was the abundant shade in this section of the park. Because even with the shade, we were getting pretty hot in the summer temperatures and humidity. Once we reached the sunny part of the park a little later, we had about all that we could take, which called for a visit to the hotel pool.

Of course, in a couple of months everyone around here at home will be complaining about how cold it is, and we would probably be thankful for just a bit of that heat if we could get it. Too bad we couldn’t bottle it up and bring it home with us.
