Daily Photo: Surfboard on the Beach

The other day, I was going back through the photos of our trip to Cocoa Beach, Florida, last summer. I ran across this photo of a surfboard on the beach. This was relatively early in the day on an obviously cloudy day. It isn’t my surfboard, of course. If so, I probably would have used it in more photos. But I thought it was nice for someone to leave it there for a few moments for my photo.

About the shot:
I think I have a new favorite photo from our beach trip. And comparing it to the others from the trip that I have posted in the past, it is interesting to see how my processing style has changed. Three exposures (-2, 0, +2) tonemapped in Photomatix, edited in PaintShop Pro.
Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT
Lens: Sigma 10-20mm
