Daily Photo: Footprints in the Sand

All along the beach, there are footprints in the sand, such as these at Cocoa Beach, Florida. I often wonder about who left the footprints. Who were they? Where were they going? What were they doing? How big were their feet? What size shoes do they wear?

Okay, so maybe I don’t wonder about those last two quite as much. But these tracks were interesting because it looked like several people were going in the same direction at around the same time. Maybe a group was out for a morning run. Or maybe they were left over from the night before.

Who knows? And what does it matter anyway? It really doesn’t matter, but it is still fun to speculate sometimes. I wonder if anyone ever wonders about my footprints in the sand?
