Daily Photo: Frontierland at Walt Disney World

Looking down the way in Frontierland at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, we can see several storefronts, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe (maybe the longest named restaurant there), and even Splash Mountain way off in the distance.

I like the wooden Indian and the guest sitting on the sidewalk near him. They are quite a study in contrasts. One is standing, one is sitting. One is looking left, one is looking right. One is real, one is wooden. I’m sure there is some deep psychological point to be made from that, but that is about as far as I can get.

And besides, they are probably both just wondering if those clouds are about to let loose with some rain.
