Daily Photo: Hotels on the Beach

Hotels along the beach at Cocoa Beach, Florida

One night when we took a walk along the beach at Cocoa Beach, Florida, we passed these hotels along the way. We weren’t staying at any of these hotels. We had saved a few dollars by staying at a hotel across the street from the beach, although it was still close enough that we could walk over for our evening walk.

As we were walking along, I liked the looks of the clouds with the sun setting off to the west, and the moon up in the sky. It was a pleasant evening to be out walking. And although you can’t see any other people here, there were actually quite a few who were out walking with us.

Looking back on it all, I am reminded of how pleasant that is. And I wonder if those who live around there enjoy walks on the beach as much as I did, or if they tend to take it for granted. Maybe we should trade places for just a little while.
