Partners in the Sun at Walt Disney World

Partners statue in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World

The Partners Statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse stands in the Central Plaza in front of Cinderella Castle in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

There are many ways you could react to this photo. If you wanted to get all symbolic, you could make some sort of thing about Walt pointing toward the sun. Or reaching out to touch the sun. Or something along those lines.

If you wanted to get all technical, you could say that the Tinker Bell wire from Cinderella Castle should be digitally removed because it looks like Walt is grabbing it. Or you could say that the crane near Cinderella Castle should be removed because it is distracting.

But as for me, I have never been into symbolism all that much. And I never have cared to remove things that were actually there when I took the photo.

So instead, I just enjoy this photo as it is for the great view that it provides. And I wish I were there right now.
