Never been a safety issue before. It's just that some engineers (operating the train) like to keep up with who's in front of 'em.
I've been told that the attendance threshold to permit the running of three trains was lowered by Main Street Operations and park management; that's why the three remaining trains have been out a lot more than in the past. I've also been told that trains are starting to run again *after* fireworks when the park's open late.

They are installing a retractable automated boiler fire ignition system into every single rail tie just in case the fire goes out and to protect the poor firemen from burning the hairs off their legs I found that statement alone to be hilarious as to just why the crew would be in shorts at all when they wear overalls.
Glad this is done on the 8th. We arrive on the 9th and I've been telling my boys we can ride the train.....dodged a bullet. I'd have had two 2 1/2 year olds really pissed at me!
