Yep, smokebox blowout. Lemme guess: number one was over-haulin' those little piggies, because it was wearing its heart on its sandbox... :?

Or perhaps it was for lack of a little tender-ness?

It's not a terrible rendering of the Holliday. It's not meant to be center stage in the painting. But it does seem the artists is better at painting vintage cars than steam locomotives.

Foose is a 100% car guy. And yes the train si background for Mater...so I cut him some slack. Neat art anyway....

It's a nice piece. Not quite getting the tow-truck/ locomotive relation, but it's interesting.

I tend to prefer straight boilered engines, so it's interesting to see number one Foosed that way. And I think Foose and I share a disdain for facialed vehicles.

OK, I didn't see the other three pieces until just now; they all look really nice! They look better as a set (maybe as postcards?) than as individual pieces.

Maybe Foose will do us the favor of ripping the faces off Thomas & friends? 8)

Actually, it's kinda nice seeing a painting featuring the DRR that DOESN'T have a cartoon character (per se) in it.
