I don't want to insult anybody, but even though I live on the West coast and have never been to WDW, I still know all the engine names of the WDWRR as well as the DRR. I pretty sure a good number of people on this board would know all the names.

I never knew Chaffin was a FWRR cast member...I worked with Johnny for a few years on the WDWRR.

Hi Jim,

That was a mis-statement on my part. Johnny Chaffin is a great fan of the FTW RR and was invaluable with his help on developing the book. But he was not a cast member on the FTW RR. You're correct, he has been a cast member/crewman on the WDW Railroad in the Kingdom for a number of years.

Also, Helen Graves is of course Jimmy's wife. She is another key person who helped me with the book, especially finding the former cast members. Lastly, David Carriker was a key source for a number of photographs and memories of the RR. But, neither were FTW RR cast members...

They seem to have this little "identity crisis" over there. The name of the RR depends
on where you look.

Especially when "Euro Disney" literally means "Money Disney".

It's not exactly an identity crisis. The park opened as "Euro Disney". It was not a financial success at first -- primarily because of the overbuilt hotel capacity -- and the name took on something of a negative connotation. They rebranded the park "Disneyland Paris" a few years later. However, some of the name references were difficult to change, such as initials in wrought iron. So, there are still references to EuroDisney and "ED" throughout the park.

This also suggests the opportunity that the company may someday open another park located in Europe. For example, it wouldn't make sense to have "EuroDisney" and "Disneyland Rome".
