I knew something was amiss when after the first movie had been out for a while, they were still cranking out new toys for it. I can’t recall another Disney movie they’d ever done that before.
I have focused on Sarge alone because I own a WW2 Jeep and that they didn’t make as much with that character. No way could you even think of collecting everything of Lightning McQueen or Mater! I have Marco, the fighter jet die cast one, as well as the military Humvee from one of the “Mater tales” episodes that has Area 51 in it and Finn McMissile because of the James Bond connection. And a few scattered primary characters and that’s it. Most 99.999% of it is all about Sarge.

It’s a 1944 Willys MB. More info can be found here: http://www.freewebs.com/willysmb44/willysmb366014.htm If you’re an MVPA member, my Jeep has been in Army Motors magazine a few times. It’s never been restored and has a lot of its original stuff on it.
A bit off-topic, but do you also collect Matchbox jeeps? I've bought a few, because they're close to 1:64 scale, and make good American Flyer flatcar loads.

A few years ago I did. I must have several hundred WW2 Jeep toys and models. I no longer actively look for them (and most are packed away in boxes), expect for good-quality 1:48 scale die cast ones for the On30 model RR layout I intend to build someday.
If you check the first few photos in this thread of mine, you'll see my 'sarge shelf' once had about 50% WW2 Jeep toys as well on it...
Wow I guess I am not the only one here who collects the Dicast Cars Models. My favorite disney character is infact Mater because he is voiced by my favorite. Larry The Cable Guy.
Anyway, Does anybody here have a complete or almost complete collection of the entire Piston Cub Racers. I have been dieing to know how many are there out there to collect.

They put out a limited set of all the piston cup racers in one box, you can find them online selling between $1,000 to $2,000 usually. I don't recall the exact number, but if you google it you can find it.
I heard about that set. I wished I had it it. It has all the racers I need to make a piston cup race scene for my Lionel Train Layout. I have only collected about 10 or 15 of the piston cup racers so far (that does not include the World Grand Prix racers)

Good luck. I traded some stuff with a guy who had that set. I've never seen another anywhere and he was evasive when I asked where he got it.
