The Uptown Jewelers store on Main Street USA in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom basks in the sun on a beautiful day.
I always enjoy all of the activity on Main Street USA. People going this way and that. A balloon seller with brightly-colored Mickey balloons. People. Strollers. Shops. Cell phones. Okay, so maybe an actual Main Street from the old days wouldn’t have cell phones, but some of the people in this photo have them. And that blue sky is just right.
On a photo processing note, I originally processed this in my old style as a three exposure HDR, because I had taken three exposures of just about everything on that trip. But there were still a few “ghosts” where people had moved between the different exposures, and a few other little things didn’t look right. So then I ran just the normal exposure through Lightroom and came up with almost the exact same look, except without the ghosting, and without as much chromatic aberration, too. So I guess I really am done with my old way of processing.
