Outside Christ Church Cathedral in Nassau, Bahamas

Recently, I was looking back through some photos from our 2013 Disney Cruise, and I found this photo of Christ Church Cathedral from our stop in Nassau, Bahamas. You may remember a photo from inside Christ Church Cathedral that I posted some time back. So if you wondered what the outside looks like, this is it.

When I found this photo, I was actually looking for some photos to process in black and white. I haven’t posted any black and white photos in quite some time, and I thought I would give it a try. But once I started working on this one, I decided that I just couldn’t give up that nice blue sky and how the green fronds of the palm tree stand out against it. And besides, the black fence blended in with the background a little too much for me in black and white, too.

So this time around, color won out. I guess I am more of a color guy than black and white. Who knew?
