The Peabody Rooftop

The Peabody Rooftop in Memphis, Tennessee

The Peabody Hotel sign on the Peabody roof in downtown Memphis, Tennessee.

On our recent visit to downtown Memphis, we went op on the roof of the world-famous Peabody hotel. Yes, there is also a Peabody hotel in Orlando, but the original is the one in Memphis. Just in case you were wondering.

Laura and I had been on the roof of the Peabody before, but we wanted to take Jaylin up there since he was with us this time. I don’t know which he enjoyed seeing more - the view of downtown Memphis from up high, or the penthouse where the famous Peabody ducks live when they aren’t going for a swim in the hotel lobby.

And besides, on our last visit to the Peabody rooftop, it was a cloudy, dreary day. So I thought this blue-sky photo made a nice complement to the photos from our last visit.
