A Rose Is Blooming There For Me…

A Rose Is Blooming There For Me...

…where the soul (of man) never dies. – from “To Canaan’s Land I’m On My Way,” written by William M. Golden

That’s a song we sing in church quite a bit. Jaylin even led it as his Lads to Leaders song last year. And I think of that second verse every time I see a rose blooming, such as this one above from one of our rose bushes.

Our roses have really taken off this year, as both bushes are covered with blooms. I can’t take any credit for that, however. Laura keeps watch over the roses, spraying them to get rid of spots and insects. I just try to keep the grass cut around them. And take photos of them when I can. And sing to myself just a bit as I do. Fortunately for you, I didn’t make a video of myself singing to go along with this photo. You’re welcome.
