The end of the school year has finally arrived, as today is the last day for both Laura and Jaylin. And I never know who is more excited, the students or the teachers. Living with one of each, I would say that they both are.
Yesterday was the academic awards day at Jaylin’s school. He got a trophy for being on the Principal’s Honor Roll, which means he got all A’s for the entire year. And he got a certificate for his high score in the National Geography Challenge. I hear that the geography test for that is quite hard, so scoring high is a good accomplishment.
Laura got to come over to the ceremony, which is always good. And we got to sit with our friend Angie as well. You will be glad to know that we stayed out of trouble, too.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. – Proverbs 1:7
