The afternoon sun was hitting our house just right, lighting up the blooming plants, while leaving a nice, blue sky in the background. And from this angle, our house looks really, really tall.
The front porch is a nice place to be, except when the afternoon sun is blazing and shining right in your eyes. But as the sun nears the horizon, it is often a quite pleasant place to sit. That monster-sized rose bush might be blocking part of your view, but there are worse things to look at, right?
Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.” – John 14:23
