Sunset at Sea

Sunset at Sea

The setting sun really lit up the sky, or at least a section of it, over the Atlantic Ocean. This was one of the photos from our Disney Cruise last year. And it really makes me want to go back.

This photo did take a bit of editing to get it to look just like I wanted it to look. I used multiple layers, making different “exposures” from the one RAW file and masking in the parts that I wanted. I’m really happy with the results, considering that it is a sunset where you can’t actually see the sun. But sometimes those are the best ones. Just because you can’t actually see the sun doesn’t mean that it isn’t there.

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. – Ephesians 4:32
