Family

Happy Thanksgiving! This time of year, people always tell what they are thankful for. Which to me is a little strange, because I think we should be thankful all year for everything that we have. Not just one day. Not even just one month. But all year long.

But anyway, I want to share what I am most thankful for, and that is family. As you can see in the photo from our cruise this summer, we have a pretty good thing going. And I hope that it keeps going for quite a while, too. We enjoy being together, doing things together, going places together. Mainly, we just enjoy being a family that God put together for whatever reason that He saw fit.

But then to me, family isn’t just the three of us. It also includes parents, friends that are every bit as close as family, extended family, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and more. And we are thankful for them all. I’m not sure where we would go if we tried to get everyone together at once, because it would take quite a bit of room to fit us all in. But that’s okay, too.

Hopefully, you are thankful for family, too. And hopefully, you get to spend some time with them for the Thanksgiving holiday like we do.

Because spending time with your family at Thanksgiving makes you even more thankful for them.
