Steve, what's the progress of 17's FRA inspection? Also, you need to make a new thread dedicated to 17's overhaul.

Tomorrow is a work day. Not sure if I can make it, but the plan is to refurbish the bearings, re-install them and lower the engine back on to her wheels.

Have you considered making another thread about 17's FRA inspection Steve? Also, what is the current progress.

I believe the axle boxes, along with the shoes, wedges and binders, were reinstalled this last work day. I was unable to make it. Not sure if the engine was lowered back on to her axles.
