No. I don't think the Calico Mine Train Ride locomotives were based on Mancha mining locomotives. Some of the wheels look similar so it is possible. There's an E-Ticket Magazine article about the ride so perhaps some details will be found there.

As I recall, the Calico trains were developed by Bud Hurlbut. I don't know what parts he used but it would not surprise me if C.M. Lovsted parts were used for decoration. They are battery powered, of course.

Notice that the Calico trains have no tender but the motive power is in the part that looks like a steam "locomotive." I guess we'd call it a "steam outline."
