Sun and Sand at Cocoa Beach

Catch Some Rays

I always enjoy the views along the paths leading from the parking lot to the beach at Cocoa Beach. It is a gradual reveal of the beach, and I think it heightens your anticipation the closer you get and the more you see. The only downside is that it is a long walk if you are carrying lots of stuff. But still, you are going to the beach, so there isn’t that much to complain about, right?

At this particular time on this particular day, we were blessed with a blue sky, which was really nice to see. It didn’t last all day, but it was nice while it was there. It was all perfect for some photos, as you can see.

Sometimes I wonder if the beach misses me as much as I miss it sometimes.

Getting Older

It happened again the other day. I got older.

To be specific, I am now a year older than I was when I wrote the previous post, even though only a few days have passed. Funny how that works. I don’t feel a full year older than I did last week, but the numbers don’t lie, I guess.

Even as an adult, birthdays are fun. It is nice to feel special, and it is nice to get birthday greetings from all over. Thank you to all who did that. You are great!

I suppose if you do have to get older, you might as well have a birthday and get to celebrate. Cake makes everything better, right? And calories don’t count on birthday weekends, do they?

But seriously, I am blessed beyond measure with family and friends, not to mention everything I need and a lot of things that I don’t necessarily need but are fun to have. It has been a good life so far. Let’s see what the future holds.

Bible Verse

I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. - Philippians 1:3-6

About the Photo

This photo has a completely different look because of its different subject matter, but it uses the same processing as the snow photo from a few days ago. Isn’t it interesting how the same preset can look completely different on different photos. You might want to keep that in mind if you ever consider purchasing a preset that looks really cool on the sample photo used to sell that preset, because it might not have the same effect on your photo.
