Treehouse with a View

Swiss Family Treehouse at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom

Cinderella Castle rises above Adventureland as seen from one of the bedrooms in the Swiss Family Treehouse at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

Wouldn’t it be cool to have a bedroom with a view of Cinderella Castle and the rest of the Magic Kingdom like that? I wouldn’t mind it at all. Except for the fact that the rooms have no windows (and no doors), and the rain in central Florida can be accompanied by some pretty good winds sometimes. So even with a roof over your head, you may get wet in the rain.

Of course, the “real” Swiss Family Treehouse wasn’t in Florida. But it was on an island in the East Indies, so they may not have been much better off as far as the big rains go. Still, except for the rains, and maybe the heat, living in a treehouse in a huge tree doesn’t sound all that bad sometimes.
