Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort

Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort

The Bay Lake Tower in the evening at Walt Disney World in Florida. The Bay Lake Tower is part of the Contemporary Resort and is connected to the main A-frame building by a sky bridge, as you can see at the right of the photo.

We have never actually been inside the Bay Lake Tower, but we have only walked past it a few times, such as this particular evening when we were out walking on the Walk Around the World from the Contemporary to the Magic Kingdom. I did walk across the sky bridge once, but that is as close as I have been.

The round structure of the tower contrasts nicely with the straight lines of the main Contemporary tower. However, I do miss the quaint garden wings that used to be where the new tower now stands. That’s progress in the fight to stay contemporary, I suppose.

That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe. - 1 Timothy 4:10
