Camera Gear
Here is what I am currently using, or have used in the past, for the photos I shoot:
Cameras:
- Canon EOS 60D
- Canon EOS-M – Read our Canon EOS-M review
- Olympus OM-D E-M10 – Read our E-M10 review
- Sony Alpha A7 II
Lenses for Canon EOS 60D:
- Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM Lens
- Rokinon 8mm F3.5 Fisheye
- Canon EF 50mm f/1.8
- Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM Standard Zoom Lens
Flash for Canon EOS 60D: Canon Speedlite 430EX II
Tripod: Benro A0680T Travel Angel
Camera bag: Lowepro SlingShot 202 AW (For the Canon 60D – don’t necessarily need anything that big for the Olympus OM-D E-M10, which is my main shooting camera right now)
Some older photos you see around here may have been from older gear, such as the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT, which Canon has replaced with newer models.
Older Photography Posts
Here are some old posts about the different photo software I use. Most of the information is still accurate if you want to do things these ways, although I don’t necessarily still do all of that:
- Why do your pictures look different? – Explains some of the processing techniques I use now or have used in the past.
- Which photo software do you use? – A look at some of the different software packages I use to get the look that I want out of my photos.
- More about photo software – A few more thoughts as a follow-up to the post above
Purchasing camera equipment and software through the links above helps out this site, which is always greatly appreciated!
